Thomas S Roukis, DPM, PhD, received his doctorate of podiatric medicine at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and his PhD in healthcare education from Rushmore University through distance-based learning. He completed a three-year podiatric medicine and surgical residency at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI, followed by an AO International Trauma Fellowship in Mainz, Germany, an American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons Division 14 European Foot & Ankle Surgery Fellowship, and a Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Research and Surgery Fellowship in Des Plaines, IL.
