Dr. Richard Grimsley grew up in Jacksonville. He is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Miami Medical School. He has extensive expertise in the fields of orthopaedic treatment and surgery, having received his training at some of the country’s busiest joint hospitals, including New York's Hospital for Joint Diseases, Bellevue Medical Center and New York University Hospital. He also undertook an additional year of specialized fellowship instruction with Dr. Anthony Hedley, a highly respected innovator in the field of adult joint reconstruction. Dr. Grimsley is one of only a handful of Board-certified physicians in Northeast Florida to have fellowship training in joint replacement.
