Shiguang Liu, MD, Ph.D., is a University of Florida assistant professor of pathology and is a board-certified pathologist and cytopathologist at UF Health Jacksonville. He serves as medical director of the Genitourinary Pathology. He received his medical degree from the Peking University Health Service Center in Beijing, China. He completed an anatomic pathology residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed a fellowship in cytopathology at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, as well as a fellowship in genitourinary pathology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Raafat F Makary, MD, Ph.D., is a University of Florida associate professor of pathology and a board-certified pathologist and neuropathologist at UF Health Jacksonville. He serves as medical director of Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology, medical director of Autopsy Services, and medical director of Surgical Pathology. He received his medical degree from Ain Shams University Hospital in Cairo, Egypt. He completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California, as well as a fellowship in neuropathology at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine/UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
Shahla Masood, MD, is a University of Florida professor and chair of pathology, and is a board-certified pathologist and cytopathologist at UF Health Jacksonville. She serves as program director for the Breast Pathology Fellowship and the Cytopathology Fellowship programs. She is also medical director for the UF Health Breast Center and is director of research. She received her medical degree from Shiraz University in Shiraz, Iran. She completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency, as well as a cytopathology fellowship, at Jacksonville Health Education Programs in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr Masood has devoted her entire professional life to advancing breast health.
